Olu Falae freed after 2days in captivity.

 

Abducted elder statesman, Olu Falae has finally regained freedom after almost 48 hours of abduction. His release is coming hours after President Muhammadu Buhari declared an emergency on his kidnapping.

 The former Secretary to the Government of the federation who contested the 1999 presidential election against Olusegun Obasanjo was kidnapped on Monday, September 21, 2015, same day he clocked 77 years and has been with the unknown abductors whom many reports claim are Fulani herdsmen.

The kidnappers reportedly demanded for a ransom of N100m but it is unknown if any payment was made.
