'It can be a really soulless kind of city, and we made the decision to pack up our house, put everything in storage and we left with two suitcases each, with no plan of when we were coming back,' Ricki-Lee said.

'And we didn't really have many friends over there and we were away from our families and you're kind of working your way up from the ground when you get there.'

'No one cares what you've done. They're trying to get a cut on Justin Bieber's record, they don't care about Ricki-Lee, so it's hard, you feel like you're fighting every single day,' she added.
