Nestled in a vast basement space within a substantial Victorian building in the centre of Liverpool, Rory welcomed us to his creative studio and sat down with our team for a few minutes to give an exclusive interview before the main exhibition launch, which took place on the evening of Thursday 24th July.
Several hundred people packed through the studio doors over three hours to enjoy the images, listen to Rory´s anecdotes from his experience and of course enjoy the excellent hospitality that was provided throughout the night. All spectrums of society from the North West of England turned out in force, from models and actors to journalists and socialites making it one of the best creative launch evenings of the year.
The next stop for ´Northerners´ is far from its name implies. The big smoke of London City will pay homage to Rory´s talents with a launch night which has already attracted interest from several of his A-list sitters (Which Rory is keeping an industry secret, for the moment…..) The National Portrait Gallery and The Times News Paper, as well as several European industry critics have already expressed interest in Rory´s latest installment.

| A Celebration Of Northern Talent |
Now that Northerners is taking Rory to all sides of the compass this is a sure sign that he is pointing in the direction of sustained national success.
